Legacy

Family is at the heart of everything Jeff Ashner Does. His parents, Leo and Dottye Ashner taught him the values that formed the guiding principles of Ashner Construction Company. From a young age, Jeff learned the importance and knowledge of how to create quality communities and homes that stand the test of time.While still in grade school, Jeff began to work with his father, and always knew home construction would be in his path. Jeff attended the University of Kansas, and was granted a hybrid degree combining Business, Architecture, Fine Arts, Engineering, English and communications at the university of Kansas. In his senior year of college, Jeff built and sold his first home, and he is still following his passion over 40 years later. The Ashner family has been embedded in the development of southern Kansas City for generations. Leo Ashner, the patriarch of the family,started building homes in the mid 1950’s , and most of the Ashner family is involved in building, developing and selling real estate. The Ashner family has had a hand in creating neighborhoods such as Lionsgate, Wilshire, Cedar Creek, and many more.
